DOUGLAS W : does this shaft come with the spring/line holder assembly that stock shaft comes with? if so is the line holder assembly made of a material more durable than the flimsy plastic that comes stock?GRETCHEN P : I honestly don't remember but I don't think it does come with anything but the shaft. I do know that I bought a JBL 8mm spring that had a connection point for a swivel and used that for awhile. The pig picture problem is the more you hang on this shaft the slower it it. The gun is underpowered and only suitable for smaller fish anyway. Therefore, use the plastic and get the extra speed. Any fish I'd feel comfortable shooting with this gun couldn't break the plastic anyway. Wife bought me a custom Wong 55 for big fish. Use the Sten as a "plinker" that travels well.JUSTIN A : It does not come with a slide but you can buy a metal slide from leisure pro that works wonders.
