Great Regulator, Good Breath and Rugged

Great reg for the money. Smooth breath on par with more expensive regs. Dragged this through mud, silt, over rocks and lava from 37 degree water to 73 degree water, from New England to Oahu and it keeps coming back for more. You can service the entire thing yourself as Dive Rite sells the parts and provides a step by step guide.

Outstanding value and performance

Have used this reg about 30 dives so far and it has been great. It?s a heavy duty well built reg. My only downside is it was heavier than I was used to but in the water it hasn?t been an issue. The ease of breathing is comparable to other mid range regs like aqualung and scuba pro models that I have tried but a third of the cost. My next reg setup will be this second and it?s first stage.

Already own a DR XT second stage and decided to buy another because it is the closest I’ve gotten to feeling the sensation of breathing on the surface. Very little resistance. The price makes this regulator unbeatable where some that triple the price of this still don’t compare performance wise. Am an instructor and I use this everyday and have put over 1000 dives on mine.

not recommended

first time i used it i got so much water coming in with every inhale i had to abort the dive,i checked the mouth piece for loose zip tie or fit and that was fine,,it is in a box today to be returned.but they won't give me my money back only a credit ,not too happy with that.i would not recommend this product
