Zoop Novo Battery Replacement

Complete set of battery, o-ring (lubricated), and screws (with loctite). The only tool that I needed was T6 drive for the screws. Simple and easy replacement.

Battery replacement

Complete kit, but batteries are lower-capacity CR2450N and one battery was dead.

kit was complete (I used some silicone grease to coat the o-ring but it felt like it might have been already coated). Still, there are 2 things that were problems: (1) the batteries included were CR2450N (not CR2450) - the "N" style has a lower mAh rating so won't last as long, (2) one of the batteries was dead (but expiry date as 08/2029) - Renata should be a good battery brand (used in swiss watches) but I'll replace my dead battery with Panasonic since a Panasonic CR2450 was what Suunto put into my original dive computer.

Orings good. One of the two batteries were dead.

Orings good. One of the two batteries were dead. Makes me concerned about the life of the one that installed and said battery OK. Is it really OK, or just good enough not to give an error?? Got new battery via amazon.

You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere, as you press the activation button on your dive computer it goes through the diagnostic screen and what do you see the Low Batt Icon appears. The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen No Dive Computer. Don't leave on a vacation without a spare battery kit, why ruin a great holiday because of a few dollars in batteries.
